For B.Sc. Students

1. If any Student, after admission, leaves the college under any circumstances, he / she has to pay the college fees for the remaining period of the whole course.

2. Rules of DME, Govt. of Kerala & Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) shall be followed as and when such situations arise.

3. Candidate has to secure 80% of attendance for theory classes as well as practical in each subject.

4. The candidate must secure 50% marks in internal examination in each subject.

5. The candidate must secure 50% marks in external examination separately in each theory and practical examination.

6. Students who fail in any paper, shall not be admitted to the subsequent year's higher examination, unless he/she has passed the previous examination i.e., no candidate shall be admitted to the II year B. Sc. MLT examination unless he/ she has passed the I year B. Sc. MLT degree exam. 

7. The student will not be permitted to attend the IV year classes, unless he/she passes the 1st year B. Sc. MLT Examination. In this case, the student has to remit the prescribed fee once again for the III year and will be allowed to sit along with immediate juniors in III year.

8. Students who absent themselves from examination except for a valid reason will be considered as having failed in the subject/ examination.

For DMLT, DRT & DOTT Students

1) If any Student, after admission, leaves the college under any circumstances, he has to pay the college fees for the remaining period of the whole course.

2) Rules of DME, Govt, of Kerala & Paramedical council shall be followed as and when such situations arise.

3) Candidate has to secure 80% of attendance for theory classes as well as practical in each subject.

4) The candidate must secure 50% marks in internal examination in each subject.

5) The candidate must secure 50% marks in external examination separately

in each theory and practical examination.

6) DRT Student, who fails in more than one paper on first year, shall not be admitted to the subsequent year's higher examination, unless he/she has passed the previous examination.

7) The candidate who fails in 2"d year DMLT & DOTT exam shall appear for next time with his/ her own expenses only.

8) Students who absent themselves from examination except for a valid reason will be considered as having failed in the subject/ examination.

GENERAL & COMMON RULES.

  • Students should attend the College regularly and arrive before Prayer. Those come late should take permission of Principal.
  • Any student who absent himself/herself for a day without permission will be treated as absent for two days.
  • In case of absence due to unavoidable reasons like illness, leave application to be submitted to Principal for approval. For absence of more than three consecutive days due to illness, medical certificate is to be produced.
  • Students suffering from infectious/ contagious diseases are not allowed to attend classes.
  • Parents may meet the Principal to discuss the matters concerning the progress of their children.
  • Parents/guardians are not allowed to meet students during college hours.
  • Parents must inform the College any change in their address or phone numbers immediately.
  • Students are not allowed to cut classes, if a parent/guardian desires to take his son/daughter home during the class hours. However, depending upon the emergency, the Principal shall take appropriate decision.
  • Students should not break or damage any of the article provided for their use.
  • Students are not allowed to wear costly jewellery or ornaments in the College.
  • Students must wear uniform and white overcoat along with ID card while attending Classes, Hospital posting and Laboratory.
  • The student should groom professionally and be well behaved in the college and hostel.
  • A student will be issued Transfer Certificate (TC) or Conduct Certificate, only if his/her character and performance are satisfactory.
  • Students  should  show  respect to  the  teaching  staff,  college/  hospital authorities & non-teaching staff.
  • The character and conduct of students inside and outside the College will be watched by the College authorities. If found any misbehaviour either inside or outside class will call for stern action.
  • Students are expected to keep the class rooms and the College premises neat and clean.
  • Mobile phone is not allowed in the College / Hospital.
  • No meeting of Students of any kind shall be entertained inside the College without prior permission of the Principal.
  • Students will have to obey the rules and regulations of the College. Principal's decision will be final in any academic or disciplinary matters.
